Dez and the Twins....

My sweet and ambitious friend Dez....Isn't she SO beautiful! She's carrying twins! A boy... Kael and a girl..Arianna. She has been SO optimistic this whole pregnancy and it will soon be coming to an end. Hopefully NOT on Christmas Eve or Christmas though....right Dez?

The poor girl has suffered from Toxemia, gestational diabetes, on and off bed rest, two doctors, a nutritionist, three other children, a husband, moving (twice) and purchasing a home! She is such a trooper and a GREAT inspiration! I love ya girl and hope you like them as well as I do!

*Note* I wanted to make sure I gave credit to Kellie Larsen of Elements Photography. I used her idea of the XY and XX on the bare bellies. I haven't seen it anywhere else but in her work and wanted to make sure she got the proper credit. Check out her blog elementsphotographystudio.blogspot.com.

Brooke's Kids.....

I love these kids like they were my own! Finally they are done Brooke. I love you!

Big Brother....

Dylan LOVES his big brother Jackson, and Jackson LOVES being the big brother. Jackson loves to tickle and play peek-a-boo and patty cake with Dylan. Dylan laughs and laughs.

Lately, when Jackson comes close to Dylan, Dylan will throw himself and try and catch Jackson in his arms and growl! It is so cute! The first time he did it I got mad at Jax cause I thought he was being too rough, but when Dylan did it again and again I understood.....So sweet. They are going to be best friends!

Pumpkin Carving....

This is the story of Jackson and my Pumpkin carving Escapades. I seriously don't think I have carved a pumpkin since I was 10. Now I know why we always Painted pumpkins....

First the picking of the pumpkin....I had again procrastinated in going to the pumpkin patch to take great pics of the kids while they chose a pumpkin. Ehhh....I'll pick one up at Smith's. Well day of Halloween rolled around and Boy did they have slim pickens. I FINALLY found one that was fairly round, it had some blemishes but it's alright it adds character RIGHT? So I do my grocery shopping and I'm loading every thing in and I get to the pumpkin and SQUISH! Soggy on bottom....Oh, well.....I guess that's what I get.

So we get home, cut open the top and I tell Jackson "ok, start getting the pumpkin guts out..." and this is the look I got........................I have to touch it? With my fingers? he asks.

So I got a big spoon for him and he was cool with it........

Then it was awesome.....and he was very proud of himself for getting the pumpkin guts out.

Then came carving....no pics of that because I got to do it. But a silly pic in between.

Two round pumpkin heads.............

When I was telling Jackson about the candle and how it would light him up we couldn't wait til it was dark!

Our mess......

And the finished product.....My hand hurt SO bad by the end. I sure was proud of it though. Jack looked great all lit up!

Halloween in December? That's how bad I am!

Yes, I'm posting Halloween in December. I HAVE to at least get it posted. I'm such a procrastinator! Jackson was our Blue haired Bumblebee Transformer and Dylan was a Monkey.

Jackson really loved walking the neighborhood....He is such a sweet kid. We wanted to GIVE candy to all the houses that we knocked at. And Boy was he excited when he got a toothbrush from one of our neighbors. We got more candy in our complex then we did anywhere else. It was fun! This is the first year he has really embraced the whole trick or treating thing. Below are just a few pics of the kids in their costumes.
