Bubbles, Bubbles everywhere.......

So, I don't really have a picture of the actual bubbles but jackson and I had so much fun sitting outside in the late afternoon in the warm sunshine. He was so cute and turned into such a big boy right in front of my eyes as he took control of the bubbles and knew just how to open them and corrected me on which side of the stick to use. I really appreciated the hour or so I got this afternoon to just spend a little time and enjoy the simple things with Jax. Especially after he has been so sick. It makes me realize how lucky I am to have a healthy (most of the time), active, independent child. I love you Jackson. Thanks for being such a bright spot in my life. :)

Sick Kiddo....

Poor Jackson...He has had a rough couple of weeks. 3 weeks ago he had strep throat that came with a fever, that was pretty hard to control. He did well for a week and then BAM! Nasty cough with tons of boogers, fever, and throw up. Poor kid.

He is crying in this photo because he didn't want me to take his picture. He just looked so pathetic sitting in the chair with puffy eyes.

Good thing he is on the mend. I don't think I could take much more between him and DAD!

The results are in.......

So, the results are in for our Boy name....we had a whopping 87 Votes! 

Deagan Patrick (which is the name that we both agree on) got 15% of the votes

Nathan Joseph (my favorite) got 15% of the votes

Tyler James got 21% of votes

Ryan Patrick got 23% of the votes

and the winner (of the poll-not what we are necessarily going to name our child) is.........

HUNTER JAMES with 26% of the votes!

I am really surprised that so many people like Hunter, Especially because I am SO opposed to it. From the beginning it has been in the lead of all the names.

Ben originally wanted Hunter Joseph or Hunter Patrick, but when we talked about Hunter James I do like it a little better. Maybe Ben will win on this one.....and maybe I'm just being silly because we don't even know what we are having yet. 

Friday, March 13th is the BIG day. Yikes...Friday the 13th? The only "BAD" thing to find out would be that we were going to have TWINS! Well, it wouldn't be bad, just a great big surprise!

USA Today reported....

Woman's record-length finger nails broken in crash! 

Apparently the Guinness Book of World Records record holder for the longest fingernails lives in Salt Lake City. Did you know that? 

I guess she was in an accident and when she was ejected from the vehicle it broker her nails.

I guess the total length of the nails total MORE than 28 feet long (2008) and her longest nail was on her right thumb at 2ft 11in! Sick! how would you ever function? Wash her hair, do dishes, get dressed, ANYTHING!

What is the WCCC? Its the Washington City Community Center of course! Jackson's friend Jorgen had his Birthday party there last night, it was the first time we have been there and Jackson had a Blast! But I think the Daddy's had more fun with the water features then the kids.

You want to name our Baby What?

Since Ben and I found out that we are having a baby there has been a small debate over what we would name our baby IF its a boy. He desperately wants to name our baby (if it's a boy) Hunter...

What? Hunter? Like someone who goes out in the woods and kills animals or like the color? I'm not trying to offend anyone who has a child named Hunter but it's not for me. What would I call him for short...Hunt? I dunno, it's just not my favorite. On the flip side. Ben REALLY dislike Nathan Joseph, which is one of my favorites.
