Accidents Happen for a Reason.....

Just about 4 weeks ago, My girlfriend Meredith, her son Garrett, and  Jackson and I were off to see Horton Hears A Who at the $1 Theater. Before we could go we had to go feed Meredith's 3 beautiful horses. As we were pulling out of their property there was this Magnificent golden wheat field. I told Meredith at that time that I was going to do someone's pictures there.  The following Saturday, I got up bright and early,
loaded Jackson up and we were off.
The idea I had in my head for the photo was not coming to pass. I really wanted Jax in the field with a pair of overalls bare foot and holding a flag but finding a pair of overalls in the 102 degree weather was a bit harder then anticipated. So I settled for a Camo jacket from the DI and Jackson and I headed out to "The Field". Jackson really wanted no part in taking pictures at all, (which I was kinda bummed about but couldn't blame him.) So we only got a few shots and this fantastic photo (if I do say so myself) happend to be one of them.
I Love it when accidents happen and the result is fantastic.
I love this picture...Of all the photos I have ever taken
IT is my favorite and means the most to me.

Bowling for Fun!

Ben and I took Jackson bowling for the first time in his little 2.5 years of life. We had sooo much fun! He bowled a better game than I did! We had bumper lanes (of course) and we all proved to need them. (especially Ben, though he wouldn't admit it)  The bowling alley had a cute little bowling ball that was only 5 pounds. Jackson would just pick it right up bring it to the line and push it on down the lane. (Which by the way was sometimes a bit painful because it would roll sooo slowly.) All in all though we had nachos and a blast.
We will definitely be doing it again.

This photo is hilarious! Jackson is waiting for the ball to roll down the lane and hit the pins. You can't see Ben but he is standing exactly the same way!

There were so many good photos from our night out.
It was hard to just pick a few.

And last but not least. This one is my favorite. I loved the little bowling shoes.
They were cracking me up!

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day! This last weekend was a blast. Ben and I went to the wedding of one of Ben's "homeboys" It was really neat and Jackson got to spend the night at Grandma and Grandpa Paine's and ride the "Vroom Vrooms" even though it was butt cold! Uncle Joe sure knows how to crack Little Jackson up. And good ol' Aunt Stacey is a good sport about jumping on the trampoline in the cold wind and sprinkles of Rain!

Jackson's little personality is starting to really come out as gets bigger and talking in sentences and expressing himself.  He is quite the little teaser and is nosey! He has become obsessed with poop especially Dog poop, if he sees it he points it out. I asked him what he wanted for dinner the other night and he gets a little twinkle in his eye (which happens everytime he teases) and tells me "daw poop"! What a stinker, he is always cracking us up!

Kasey (Ben's "home boy") and Heather, are really great together. They look great together and you can tell that they are really in love. Originally the wedding was supposed to take place  at a fantastic park on a cliff, but when the inclemeant weather started to set in they moved it to their home in Washington Fields. On the photo below the horoscope that is there is Heather's for May. It says that she will be on top of the world on the 24th and that was the day they got married! Hmmmm.....makes ya wonder.

Blogging.....

So I really like the idea of blogging. It is awesome and easy  to let everyone know what the Cram's are up to.  I am hoping to update once a week. And Maybe show a few proofs of my photo jobs...

So to catch up......
Jackson is still the center of our lives (and probably will be until he is 18 or moved out of the house.) He is growing like a weed. Here it is only May and the shorts I bought for him in March. (yes-shorts in March we live in Sunny St. George) are starting not to fit him!

Ben is still working with the State of Utah. He is on the construction crew for UDOT which mean he sits in a truck all NIGHT long and runs a few tests here and there when needed. Lucky guy! He really loves it and hopes to permanently move to the construction crew.

Heather is still with the same company. Just jumping from position to position. I've moved from the Spectrum Classified department to the Pioneer Shopper and am doing classified advertising exclusively.  I'm still doing photography on the side and love doing it. I have a wedding this weekend and i am looking super forward to it. Our Friends Kacey and Heather are finally tying the knot!
