So this is Love.....

50 years ago my grandparents made promises to each other as husband and wife. To be each others constant friend, faithful partners and one and only Loves. In the presence of God and their family and friends they vowed to be faithful partners in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, in joy as well as sorrow. 50 years ago they took and gave each other their faults and their strengths. They promised to love each other unconditionally, support each in their goals, to love and respect one another. To laugh with one another and to cry with each other.

If that isn't love, then I don't know what is.......

It seems like it has been a long time since my last "Bridal" shoot. At the end of this shoot I walked away feeling like my whithering, ethiopian looking, artistic side had been sustained even if it was just temporary. I came home in such a fantastic mood. I learned something about taking time for myself, (even if in the long run it means one more thing to do)

I LOVE this couple and we had such a good time at the shoot. They are actually getting married this weekend (02/06/10) the same day as my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. Kinda cool huh? Celebrating Newly wedded bliss and timeless love all in the same day?

Thanks for guys for helping me learn to take time for me and and what I think are my talents.

Yes, its me. Yes, that is a mug shot. I figured all the celebrities get blogged about when they get arrested. Shouldn't I? Am I not DIVA enough? haha

Still not really sure what I was Arrested for.....They told me a civil matter.....Another chapter in my life?...lol.

Its kinda funny right? It wasn't funny at the time.....but it is kinda funny now. Oh well, what do you do?

And here are my lovely holding cell mates.....they told me, "jail isn't as bad as it seems." This is coming from a pill popping meth user, a woman who contributes to minors, shoplifter, and the last girl had a warrant for something. Nobody worry, I was in good company.

27th birthday!

Who is this man that is having his 27th birthday today?
He is the ying to my yang, the dirty to my clean, the redneck in my city. The pesimist to my optimisim, the laid back to my high strung, the gruff to my soft. My opposite and compliment that I cannot imagine my life without. It's my overworked, under appreciated, loving husband, Ben.

I love you babe! Thank you for ALL that you do that keeps food on our table, warm beds to sleep in, roof over our heads and love in our hearts. You are a great husband and father and cannot wait to spend the rest of eternity with you!

I'm so lucky to get to work with so many cute clients!

I really enjoyed shooting this family, they reminded me of my own. My family originally comes from Southern California where it is VERY normal to have no more then three kids. So I don't have the pleasure of having eight aunts and 10 uncles.

Having this intimate group made for a quick session with great shots!
