Kids say.....

Jackson and I stopped by the bank today after work. We went ahead and went in because Jackson likes too.

When we were leaving the teller gave him 2 suckers. When we got to the car he asked for help opening them. I said "Eat them one at a time please, one now and one after dinner, ok...." Without missing a beat he says,

"but want to have a party in my mouf!?"

Where the heck did he learn that from? I don't know, but it's pretty dang funny!

What are you wearing?

Ben was showing Jackson a picture of himself today. In the photo he is wearing a pair of Spidey Sunglasses and a police badge. When Ben asked him what was special about the picture Jackson says

"I'n wearing my po-yeece band-aid."

Ha! I love my sweet guy.......

sOn Of A BEE!

Jackson has seriously been cracking me up with the things he says. I'm having to write down all the funny things he's been saying lately.

I try REALLY hard not to say bad words in front of Jackson. Not only because he is three and mimicks EVERYTHING, but how can I possibly teach HIM not to say it if I'm saying it....right?

So tonight as I was cooking dinner, I took the lid off the Spanish Rice and wasn't paying much attention and the steam burned me and I yelled 'Son of a "B"!' Yes, I said "b", as in the letter, not the swear word.

Jackson comes running in from the living room and says "Bee? Where's the bee mommy? Is there a bee in the house?" Ben busts up laughing in the living room, I'm laughing pretty dang hard and poor Jackson is still asking about the "bee".

Maybe you had to be there for it to be funny, but I'm glad that he thought of a "bee" instead of the word it stood for.

Naturally he is a scrappy guy,

he hates to throw anything away......

incase he might need it later.

So when I was sitting here at the computer

Even as a Preggo girl... this doesn't really appeal to me, but I still love ya babe.

Contractions? I had forgotten.

The other day Ben picked me up from work for lunch. We were headed out and all of a sudden I got this sharp pain. Yep, my first REAL contraction!

I couldn't believe how much it hurt. I had totally forgotten what it was like. I swear Ben was hitting the bumps on purpose. Not too many of them since (thank goodness) but it makes me more nervous for the BIG day.
